Welcome to The Mafia Business. We strive to improve our online community with the help from you Mobsters. Your vote on polls on the main page, feedback and criticism when deserved is taken seriously, and our updates and upgrades reflect on those mentioned. We Thank you for your support and help to improve our community together. If you have any questions, or suggestions please feel free to contact the Admin and we will respond in a timely matter.

This isn't your ordinary mafia game so please read round settings in each round and read at least on the listed selections with banners within the game guide to help you better understand some of the features, units, and game play within our community to keep you ahead of others who dont.

Now lets get to the good stuff.

Go to a city with a less population in it to hire some thugs, this will lower the risk of you getting whacked so soon in the round. These will defend you if you are attacked by another mafioso.

Thugs can attack and produce drugs...which is why they are highly recommended to hire. Look around and notice how others hire first, so hold off on operatives till your well guarded.

Buy some weapons from the black market or your defensive units will get whacked.

Look for a family to join or create your own fast... if your alone your a sitting target. 

Buy some alcohol and drugs on the black market to keep all of your operatives and defensive units happy. If they're not happy, they'll just go and work for a mafioso who will keep them happy and leave your stingy ass.

In this game we have Moles, if you find them and kill them you can robbed them from up to millions of free turns. There are a total of 10 per round. Scroll down to read more about The Mole.

Every hour on the hour here on TMBusiness we Thank you for being active and by thanking you we award active online Mobsters at top of the hour during every hour with free mass turn hand outs 

(That's right it pays to be active) you can receive up to millions of turns per round just by being active. Thank you for your support.

How do I take control of a city?

The Mobster with the most Mercs physically in that city will have the option to take control of that city on the city rank page. By simply going to the city rank and accepting the control of that city. Now you have control of this city. 

 

 

If i have the most mercs am I in control of a city?

NO! You are not automatically in control if you have the most mercs in a city, You must accept control from city ranks in order to take control of a city first. Once you do that you will be in control of that city.

 

 

Can I have control of more than one city?

Yes: but you only need to remain in control of 3 cities in order to receive the Max 15% booster in Hiring, Collecting, and Producing.

Each city will provide you 5% up to 3 cities in control totallying 15%.

Example you have 1 city in control you will receive 5% in hiring collecting and producing. Now you have 2 cities 10%. now 3 cities are in your control is now the Max at 15%. 4th city in your control 0% etc etc. 

 

How can i control more then one city?

Travel to a city where you can become the mobster with the most mercs within any city and accept control on the city rank page. When you feel safe enough you can head to another city and do the same.

NOTE: Just remember once you leave a city anyone can take control of it if your not physically in the city being taken over.

EXAMPLE:  If TonyMontana has 500,000 mercs and takes control of New York due to having the most Mercs in New York. Once TonyMontana leaves to take control of Pittsburgh, any mobster like Dave now physically has the most mercs with only 20,000 mercs physically in New York and will now have the option on the city ranks page to take that control of New York away from TonyMontana. 

Now you pissed off TonyMontana cause he was receiving 15% in control of 3 cities. but now hes forced to be with 10% controlling only 2 cities and loses the flash effect on his or her name or he can attempt to take it back if he has more mercs then you! 

Why can someone take a city from me if i have more mercs?

Because you physically left the city you no longer physically have the most mercs in New York, (because your now physically in Pittsburgh or another city.) 

 

Reputation/Points System. (will be tallied up and added to the Reputation Point page in the future we will add this to ranks prizes and medals and than tie into the hall of fame.)

For every city you take control of you will receive 3 reputation and for every city taken away from you, 1 reputation is taken away from you. You also get 3 points per hour for each city you control. All reputation is totaled up on the Bragging Rights and the Reputation Points Page

Once Hof Points is installed into the store we will tie in City Control perks into city control.

note: we are still in the process of updating city control with 97% completed and our reputation system is now tied into city control and can be seen on awards page which will soon be called Bragging Rights.

 

 

 

 

"Hall Of Fame Store Coming Soon"

The Hall Of Fame is based on player stats per rank within the HOF. This is your chance to become a Mafia Legend with in our community

Mobsters will receive Points for simply just playing and doing what they do best.

Each rank is subject to points during each round within the Hall Of Fame.

Points are "FREE!" No spending, again it's based on player stats only.

 

Once installation is completed:

Mobsters will be able to trade in your points at any time for the following:

 

1. Special Packs

2. Boosters

3. Subscriptions

4. Perks

5. Tokens

Note "You will not be able to purchase any points!"

Points will be capped and only based on player stats.

"use them or lose them once you have reached the capped limit."

So you wanna take someone out quick and easy? 

For the right price a professional Hitman will kill anyone off within the round no matter how strong the Mobster is protected. Pay the fee and sign the contract and there is no stopping The Hitman from killing off his next Target.

1. Hitman can only be used 3 times per Mobster.

2. Each day that passes The Hitman fee increases.

3. Once you pay the fee and accept the contract the target is "DEAD".

(In other words there is no backing out or changing your mind.)

4. Hitman will be closed for business 24 hours before round ends.

 

 

 

Here in the Mafia Business if any player invites 2 active players to our community you will receive a free 7 day subscription.

This goes for new and returning invites to players who have not played in over 2 months or more.

When announced/active: Simply message the Admin with the 2 players you have invited and whom are active in the game. Once confirmed we will deliver your subscription.

Special Rounds/Months: Keep your ears open and always read the round settlings before you do anything. round settings provides all the details to that round.

We tend to throw buy one get one subscriptions for a friend in the main round you purchase your sub in.

(This special offer only applies to single subscriptions and does not apply to family subscription packs.)

Note: There is no stockpiling subscriptions for yourself, this is souley for a friend in the main round you purchused your subscription in.

We are at no fault if you fail to provide us the friends name during the main round you purchase your sub in. You will lose your free subscription to a friend.

(Buy one get one subscription, when activated is only honored in the main rounds, NOT MINI ROUNDS YET!)

 

When you become a subscriber on the main round, you will receive bank interest in the Main and Mini rounds as well.

Focus on that interest, but beware of hackers wanting to hack your bank! you better hire some to protect your bank.

When choosing perks subscribers and supporters can select up to 2 perks while a free player can select 1.

Hall of famers with reputation can choose up to a 3rd perk using their reputation.

Subscrber killers will also have a chance to rank in supporter killer and some levels until you choose to hop in supporter ranks.

 

"MINI SUBS HAVE NO EFFECT ON BANK INTEREST." A Mini sub will only effect the amount of turns one is given every ten minutes. You will receive more turns per every ten minutes, max faster and at a higher max limit. Keeping you ahead of the game.

 

Family Subscription packs- Coming soon- A player can now buy a family sub pack for the current family he/she is in at a discounted price. This will allow every member in the family to receive a subscription.

Note: All members must be in the family during the purchase of the family subscription pack in order to receive the family subscription. Family Subscriptions will not affect units. 100% is dedicated to updates and upgrades within our community.

What are The Moles?

The Moles are Artificial Intelligence Mobsters,

(Customized TMBusiness Bots)


The Mole lurks through the cities blending in undercover, switching names every round so it's hard to find a Mole during the following round. The Mole will hire, collect and produce, create families, join families, send and accept invites to and from families. This makes the Mole's more difficult to find and easier to blend in the underworld. With these abilities The Mole has become a mastermind in disguise and The Mafia Business most wanted enemy for many other reasons.

The Mole is A dominate force in the underground who is often trusted by the highest Dons nation wide, city to city to smuggle the most valuable goods in TMBusiness, "TURNS" . The Mole travels across enemy lines undetected making drop offs to other Moles.

Now....if you hunt down the Mole, find and ambush The Mole than kill The Mole you have a chance to loot those turns right off his hands and take advantage of the robbery by now gaining up to millions of free turns, or even billions in loose on hand cash, and sometimes even both.

(It's your risk, just don't think The Mole is easy prey.)

This is your chance to attempt to attack and become our top thief, top mole killer, or top free or supporter killer and rack up with medals and prizes.

Now you can see for yourself one of the reasons why this game has become another game within itself. "Beware its very addictive."

Why care about the mole?


You don't have too, but if you do ...
The Mole is always on the go, no time to bank or place anything in the vault. Meaning the mole will always have lots of cash, drugs, and weapons on hand. But be careful....the mole is never alone and always heavily guarded and fully armed waiting for the unexpected.

Why whack the mole?


The mole is now getting the feel of your cities, The Mole is new, a noob, a rookie to the scene. Whack the mole and not only do you receive a lot of on hand cold cash, weapons, drugs, alcohol, plus climb up the kill ranks, and have a better chance to be a top theif, but you also will receive his on hand turns for killing the mole. (the more du's/defensive units the mole has, the more on hand turns you will receive.)

Can I hit the mole more then once?


Yes, the mole will reset at random. So example if TonyMontana is a mole and gets whacked! The mole may reset anytime through the day again (at random) giving someone else a chance to whack em, but only if their tough enough.

How many moles are they per round?


The amount of moles vary from the amount of (active) players in the game and the amount of actions one takes. The round will always begin with 10 Moles unless detailed in round settings differ, The mole comes in different levels with in the game. example one mole will be at the highest level where a player will build 100 million du's. The highest level mole will try his best to hire up close as possible, while the others remain at different levels. This makes it fair game giving everyone a chance to hit a mole or more. Keep in mind that the more du's a mole has the more turns it will provide you and the harder it will be to take the mole out.

WARNING!!! The Mole isn't easy prey. The mole will put up a fight and fight to the death if attacked. Are you willing to take that risk?

The person with the most mole kills gets a prize/turns and a medal.


A real mafia boss doesn't get their hands dirty. You will need to hire others to do your dirty work.

Hitmen, Bodyguards, Hackers and Thugs will carry out any hits you order.

The more you hire, the lower the possibility of you getting attacked by another mafioso.

 

 

*Whores, Hustlers, Smugglers and Card Dealers will earn you cash or produce drugs for you.

*Thugs seem to be the choice for safe keeping. Thugs can produce drugs, and protect you and attack for you. This Defensive unit is extremely handy! 

*Hackers are themafiabusiness signature du/op.

Hackers are able to hack other Mobsters personal banks and collect by hacking loco banks and business through out the cities.


*Hackers also defend your personal bank from anyone with less hackers then you have and they will also counter attack the enemy if they have less hackers than you have, and you dont have to be online for them to counter attack.


*Smugglers smuggle cars, guns, and planes and drugs on the boarders of every city throughout the world. The more you hire, the more goods and money you can make.

 

Note: If you wish to attack: hitmen are best. If you wish to defend: ....say your cash on hand due to you being a banker or simply just wish to stand strong you would hire thugs and bodyguards to protect your goods and ops. depending on your game play hackers may be your better op than whores. or simply just hire nothing but thugs and produce drugs or hit away and kill causing chaos.

The Jail is only active during special rounds. When active the Jail guide is on the jail page. Here Ill give you a quick break down. You can lock up anyone whos 00ed/killed

and when you do lock someone up ...like real life, you lose everything but the cash in your personal bank, family bank, vault, and stocks. This means everything in your blackmarket, cars drugs weapons planes and cars GONE! Every onhand penny/dollar GONE! 

Again this is for special rounds only and the only jail like it.

*Attacking

If somebody disrespects you or your family, and you need some money or if you just feel like a fight, you can attack other Mobsters.

There are a range of different attacks you can do.

Drive-by shootings, carjacking, murdering operatives, robbing their business, hack personal banks, or a full scale territory invasion are your options.

If you really want to show somebody who's the boss, attacking them will remind them and can be very profitable.

Pick the wrong hit however, and you could be 'sleeping with the fishes' You can attack mafioso's based on their net worth. If you're a capo worth $500,000 you cant whack a mafia don worth $50 billion. Check the "game settings" page in game for up to date attack ranges.

 

*Protection

To prevent players being attacked as soon as they hire some units, hiring gives you protection from being attacked. For every turn you use to hire, you get 1 second of protection, up to a maximum of 60 seconds protection. In some rounds, there will be no protection. To see whether protection is enabled in a round, join the round and click "Round Settings".

*Revenge

So you got whacked by some hotshot from another family and he's now loaded so you cant whack him back? You're in luck. If somebody attacks you, you can attack them back unlimited times for up to 24 hours, no matter what they're net worth. Click "revenges" in your mailbox page and you'll be able to get even. The Protection rule still applies. Please read The "Protection" guide for more info. Scroll down.

 

*Maxing

There is a limit on the number of times a player can be attacked. Each player can be attacked 24 times the first time they're attacked and 1 attack per hour afterwards. If somebody has been attacked 24 times, the next time they will be attacked is the next top of hour (TOH) eg. 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 etc.

In order to prevent enemies attacking their members, some families attack their own members so they are "maxed".

A "maxing" attack is normally much lower damage than a normal attack, generally a drive by shooting using less than 10 cars.

The family Enforcer can attack and max members of their own family.

Keep in mind that the mobster doing the maxing "has to win the attack on the mobster he/she is maxing" and the person who is being maxed has to have no revenges on the mobster attacking with in the last 24 hours in order for this to work.

Bank

Here, you can manage your money. Stash it in the bank, or transfer it to a friend to protect it. If you use the  personal bank, you can earn interest on any money you have deposited. Here, you can also accept or cancel transfers to and from your friends. Also Bank interest is all based on account subscriptions....so mini subscriptions wont effect interest rates.

The Mafia Business Rounds

The game is split into rounds. This makes it so players cant get to far ahead so everybody has a chance to win if they're good enough.

At the end of each round, prizes will be awarded to the best mafia bosses.

There are two round types; normal rounds and mini rounds.

The normal round is where you make a name for yourself. Here you need to earn the respect of other mafiosi.

In the mini round, you get more turns so if a mafioso has disrespected you or your family you can whack them in the mini round and show them who's boss.

Keep in mind special rounds will be announced at random.

*Looting Frenzy

After the first 16 hours of the round random Moles will produce cash every hour on the hour for your taken. $50 Billion on hand per random Mole.

 

 

*Prison Break

Jail is on, all banks and transfers off.

 

 

 

*Slaughter House

Killers round, unlimited range rounds, Hitman on, 

 

 

 

 

*Total Chaos

Unlimited range, no banks, no transfers, hitman on, no families, Jail on, looting frenzy on

 

 

Always refer to round settings in each round for round details.

 

Note: We have a custom Admin panel which can turn on or off most features throughout the game. If you have any suggestions on a Special rounds please feel free to message the Admin at any time. We will place it on a poll and see how the players vote on it.

 

 

Turns

If you want to stay alive in the mafia underworld, you'll need to use your turns wisely. Every 10 minutes, turns are handed out to all players. It's up to you what you do with them. To perform most actions in game, you will need to use turns. The amount you need to use depends on what you want to do. If you use your turns wisely, you will be able to win attacks against other players. At the beginning of each round. Early birds will receive a random bonus for signing up for a future round .A mass credit handout will be giving to everyone signed into the round. One does not have to be logged into the game or online. Just signed up into the round in order to receive this bonus. Those who aren't ..miss out.

Prizes

At the end of each round, awards will be awarded to the best players in each category. You can view the standings page or the full prize list to see what awards are available. To win awards, you'll need to show you have what it takes to be a good mafia boss. The top player in the highest category Level 4 ranked with the highest net worth in level 4 will win top prize. While others will receive credits, medals and bragging rights.

If the award does not reach its cap for the main/mini round it will carry over 1 more time. Once it reaches its cap The following round will reset a new awards.
The award will be reset back to normal.

TMBusiness Accounts

Each player has 3 accounts 1 reputation, 1 Won Credits and 1 Bought Credits found on top of the donation page. Won credits are capped at 75,000,000 million. Anything over 75 million will be lost. In other words... "Use them or lose anything over the capped amount." Bought credits are unlimited.

Subscription status: To view the status of your subscription please visit the account page. Note: Buying credits from the donation page and buying main round subscriptions increases the main JP, and the reserves will also follow.

Perks: Free players can choose only one while subscribers and supporters can choose up to 2 perks, and any mobster who has reputation can use up to 3 perks per round.

Reserve name: You can reserve your name for 30 days. You may not change it or update it once its reserved until your 30 days has expired.

Families

In the mafia, you gotta stick together. If you don't, mafioso's from other families or cops will come after you. If you join a family, you have protection against that and if you do get whacked, they can hit the bitch that did it. The richest families will win prizes for every member. For added protection or if you have too many friends to fit in one family, you can have a union of up to 5 families.

Family Ranks

If you're loyal to your family, the don may promote you. Here is a list of family and union positions you can achieve:-

Don - Leader of a family / union. You become a don if you make your own family or if somebody transfers you control of their family. The don has ultimate control over the union and can invite, promote or remove anybody from any of his/her families, add a union Co-Don, message all union members, change the union name and transfer control of any family in the union to another player. Will also have access to all options in family bank.

Co-Don - Second in command of union. This is a trusted adviser of the Don who helps him/her run the union. Can message all players in the union as well as invite, promote or remove from all families in the union.Will also have access to all options in family bank.

Boss - Leader of a family. This is a player who has been assigned to run a family that is part of a union. Can invite, promote or remove any member from their family except the Don or Co-Don. Will also have access to all options in family bank.

Consig - Abbreviation of Consigliere, second in command of an individual family. Can invite, promote or remove any member from their family except the Don or Co-Don. Will also have access to all options in family bank.

Banker - A family banker. Looks after all the money for the family.

Enforcer - The family's protection. Enforcers generally have large amounts of defensive units and protect their families. They can also attack members of their own family to max them. Any kills gained from enforcer by killing family members are not counted towards the total.

Bruglione - A trusted, long standing member of the family. Can send invites and

Underboss - A trusted member of the family.

Captain - Somebody who has been with the family a while.

Soldier - A new member of the family, yet to prove themselves.

Collecting

So you hired some operatives? If you don't collect money from them, they'll just sit there doing nothing. This is the main way of making money. You'll be judged on how much money you make so don't let the family down. Do your part.

Attacking

Producing

Producing is a way of getting drugs, alcohol or cash from your employees. Instead of a cut of their profits, you can get narcotics or fake money. This can be cheaper than buying drugs off the black market

Black Market

This is where you buy items you need. Weapons, drugs and vehicles are all essential for a good mafia organization. They aren't cheap so make sure you got a good business.

Bank

Traveling

So you're in New York and your buddy gets whacked in Palermo. Pay the bitch who did it a visit. Whenever you travel, all your guys come with you and you gotta fork out for the tickets. If you have any private jets, your guys can go for free. The more jets you have, the more guys can go for free.

Revenge

Friends

You can add other players into your friends list. If they accept your request, you can see their name in other rounds so its easy to find good guys you can count on. To add a friend, click 'add to friends' on their profile or type in their name on your friends page. You'll need to give them a nickname that you'll remember them by. Even if they choose a different name next round, you'll still know who they are.

Hide Mode

When you join a round, you can use Hide Mode which will make you not appear on your friends' lists. This is useful if you want to infiltrate the enemy. With hide mode active, your medals and kills will be hidden by default. You can switch hide mode on and off at any point in the round by clicking Profile > Options.

Protection

To prevent players being attacked as soon as they hire some units, hiring gives you protection from being attacked. For every turn you use to hire, you get 1 second of protection, up to a maximum of 60 seconds protection. In some rounds, there will be no protection. To see whether protection is enabled in a round, join the round and click "Round Settings".

Round Settings

From round to round, various settings in game may change. Click the round settings link so you're always aware of what you can and cannot do in a particular round.

Donations

It's free to play. However, if you wish to donate money to the site to help with our running costs, donations are very welcome. To donate money, click the "Donate" link. We currently accept donations via PayPal. For every donation, we'll give you something to say thanks. You can choose your reward depending on the button you click to donate. If you would like extra reserve turns as a reward, click one of the buttons on the main menu after you join a round.

Maxing
